The mid-year examinations are around the corner, which means most students are preparing for them. A new guide has been released by the University of South Africa to help its students.

May/June Unisa Exams Will Soon Begin

We are looking forward to the start of the May/June 2023 online examination period at the University of South Africa (Unisa), which is scheduled to begin on 8 May 2023.As this examination period approaches, students should familiarize themselves with their university’s examination rules and timetable. It is due to the fact that exam rules differ depending on the module the student is enrolled in.

The university said in a statement

  • According to Unisa, students ought to test their access before sitting for this exam by clicking on their module code on the day of your examination

The university’s myExams platform will have exam question papers and multiple-choice questions.According to the university, it is equally important to determine the proctoring tool for the exams by following the link to the proctoring tool and inserting the module code.

By attending the Basic Skills for Online Exams Course, students can adequately prepare themselves for the mid-year examinations, but they must book their places in advance.Unisa students will also be able to access student guidelines on online assessment on myExams, training videos on using Invigilation tools, and other technical resources during their May/June 2023 exams.

The university has reminded students that plagiarism and cheating are not tolerated during online exams.Since Unisa exams are conducted online, students must have a reliable desktop/laptop/mobile with a stable internet connection and camera. Students should use their mobile browsers instead of the Unisa myModules app, according to the university.

In preparation for this exam period, students will need to download and register on the Unisa Invigilator App three days beforehand.During this time, students should constantly consult their loadshedding schedule.
