Call for Nomination of Members of the UNISA Council. The University of South Africa (Unisa) is a key institution in the country, contributing significantly to the academic development and international reputation of South Africa.
It offers a diverse range of programs and produces world-class research, positioning itself as a vital player in higher education. To ensure that Unisa maintains its excellence and navigates the challenges of the evolving educational landscape, the University Council provides governance and strategic direction.
Role of the UNISA Council
The Unisa Council holds a position of great responsibility, overseeing the university in line with the Higher Education Act 101 of 1997 (as amended) and the University Statute.
