SSDI Payment Dates in November 2023. If you are receiving disability benefits, it’s essential to be aware of the crucial payment dates as 2023 comes to a close.
Important Dates for SSDI Beneficiaries
In the United States, there are four significant payment dates to remember for SSDI beneficiaries. The first payment, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), of up to $914, is scheduled for November 1. Shortly after, another payment will be made on November 3.

Early Payments for Some
Certain recipients may receive their funds just a few hours after the initial deposit. If you are eligible for both SSI and SSDI, you’re in luck, as you will receive your Social Security Disability Insurance payment on November 3.
Special Consideration for Some Beneficiaries
Some disability benefits beneficiaries may also qualify for the November 3 payment, especially if they received checks from Social Security before May 1997.
Maximum Payment on November 3
In 2023, SSDI recipients can receive a maximum payment of up to $3,627 on November 3. Disabilities often begin long before retirement, so ensuring you’ve paid sufficient taxes to the Social Security Administration (SSA) is essential. Failure to do so can result in the loss of future benefits.
Regularly Check Your Earnings Statement
Mistakes in tax contributions may occur, and it’s crucial to check your earnings statement annually. If you notice any errors, promptly report them to the SSA.
Additional SSDI Payments
November 3 is not the final SSDI payment for some recipients. Those who did not receive benefits before May 1997 may still be eligible for payments from Social Security.
November Payment Dates
The Social Security Administration has announced three more SSDI payments following November 3, with eligibility based on specific conditions.
- November 8 is the first payment date for those with birthdays from the 1st to the 10th of the month. According to the SSA’s September 2023 statistical snapshot, the average payment for SSDI beneficiaries is $1,486.
- November 15 will be payday for those with birthdays after the 10th and up to the 20th. The maximum payment remains $3,627 for 2023 and won’t increase until January 2023.
- SSDI recipients with birthdays from the 21st to the 31st can collect their monthly payment on November 22, which will be the last payday in November 2023.
Looking Ahead to December
December will bring four paydays for Social Security Disability Insurance recipients on December 1, 13, 20, and 27. If your SSDI payment falls short, consider applying for SSI to receive additional monthly financial support.
