In Texas, the maximum SNAP amount for an eight-member family can reach up to $1,751. For a four-member family, the maximum benefit is $973, while it’s $766 for a three-member family.

It’s crucial to note that Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) between the ages of 18-52 must meet specific work requirements. They are required to work for a minimum of 80 hours to receive benefits for more than three months within a three-year period.

Upcoming SNAP Payment Dates in Texas for Next Week

The Food and Nutrition Service from the Department of Agriculture has confirmed five upcoming payments on November 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 13. The November 6 payday is reserved for recipients whose EDG number ends in 3.

On November 7, another SNAP check will be issued for those with an EDG number ending in 4. In Texas, the Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card is known as the Lone Star card.

November 9 will bring another payday, but only if your Eligibility Determination Group number ends in 5. Single individuals may receive up to $291, an increase from $281 on September 30, 2023.

The final two SNAP payments are scheduled for November 11 and 12, with recipients requiring EDG numbers ending in 6 and 7, respectively, to receive their funds on these dates.

The first round of payments will conclude with SNAP checks on November 13 and November 15. It’s essential to remember that your Eligibility Determination Group number must end in 8 for November 13 and 9 for November 15.
