Call for Nomination of Members of the UNISA Council

Call for Nomination of Members of the UNISA Council. The University of South Africa (Unisa) is a key institution in the country, contributing significantly to the academic development and international reputation of South Africa.

It offers a diverse range of programs and produces world-class research, positioning itself as a vital player in higher education. To ensure that Unisa maintains its excellence and navigates the challenges of the evolving educational landscape, the University Council provides governance and strategic direction.

The Council’s primary role is to act in Unisa’s best interest, upholding its fiduciary duties and contributing to its governance, integrity, and future growth.

In a recent announcement, Unisa has invited organizations, interest groups, and individuals to nominate suitable candidates for Council positions. The role requires a willingness to engage in decision-making processes and strategic discussions for Unisa’s continuous improvement.
